Common Cause: Neck pain can be caused by strain of the neck muscles, injury or other health problems. Whiplash, disk degeneration, arthritis or pinching nerves can all cause pain in the neck muscles.

Common Symptoms: Pain within the neck and in the surrounding muscles.

How can Physiotherapy help? The root of the problem can be identified, pain can be reduced and mobility restored.

What to expect during treatment: Soft tissue massage, neck mobilisations and stretching exercises, and possible acupuncture for pain relief.

What can you do for yourself? Seek advice from a physiotherapist, keep the neck moving and stay active with adequate pain relief.
