What is Spine Decompression?

Sheffield Physiotherapy is a leading provider of spine  related treatments. We have many years experience in offering professional physiotherapy such as micro-manipulation but have not yet invested in spinal decompression therapy.

Spine decompression is a therapy that  focuses on how to reduce the pain and pressure in the spinal column. Relieving the pressure can help regain the free range of movement. This type of therapy also includes the patient doing some exercises, particularly stretching and progressive aerobic activity in order to heal their spine completely.

The spinal decompression process is carefully monitored in order to realign the spine and help the patient recover completely. Unlike other therapies with spine decompression the patient is fully clothed during the whole process.
